Spit is the largest town and a center of Dalmatia, a well known and already renowned tourist spot, 20 km west of Duce. It has a rich historical, cultural and archeological heritage dating back some 1700 years.

The town center – Diocletian’s palace, a monument by itself, under the protection of UNESCO, hides numerous monuments preserved and protected since the time of the reign of Roman Empire.

Take a guided tour to Medjugorje a world-wide famous place of pilgrimage some 90 km away and a must see destination for a great number of tourists visiting Croatia.

Medjugorje
Omis is a must see, provided its only 1,5 km away from Duce, which is some 5 min ride or a 20-30 min walk at a light pace. For your day visit we recommend browsing through the town streets and squares paved in stone. For those interested in the historical and maritime tradition of this town we suggest visiting the oldest church in Croatia - St. Peter`s Churchin the town center, a museum, or a steep climb  the tower Mirabela right above the city or to the lookout Fortica and the old city walls, at the top of the mountain Mosor, the view alone at the Omis Riviera and Cetina will be worth a trip.
